Introducing the newest member of the Forelson family, brand ambassador Raffi Dyer. Playing from an early age, Raffi's talent soon became evident. After a brief hiatus from the sport, Raffi returned with huge ambitions and is well on her way to taking her golfing career to the next level, most recently becoming Hampshire Ladies County Champion for the first time. We sat down with her to discuss her journey to golf, her favourite Forelson pieces, and her goals for the future.
What first inspired you to start playing golf?
My dad has always played so when I was about 11 years old he took me to the driving range with a knockdown 7 iron. The first couple of shots I managed to hit the ball, and from there I was hooked!
When did you realise it was something you wanted to pursue more seriously?
I would probably say when I was about 14 years old. My handicap had come down quite a bit, and I was starting to play a lot for Hampshire girls and had just been selected for an England regional training group.
What is the biggest challenge you've faced within your golfing career?
Trusting the process and learning to be patient! When you put so much time into playing and practising, it is always tough when things don't go to plan during competitions. It has sometimes been a challenge to stay positive when I've felt the results didn't reflect the hard work and effort that I was putting in.

What has been your biggest pain point when it comes to golf clothing?
Getting the right fit. Most of the time the clothes look great on the hanger but just don't feel good during the golf swing.
Which are your favourite Forelson items to wear on the course?
I know I'm biased but I really do love all the clothes, especially the golfing trousers (Mickleton Tregging). They are so comfy and the stretch is great when lining up putts. Seems silly, but it's the little things like that that make a real difference, especially on 36-hole days.
What are you most looking forward to wearing this summer season?
The Stow Sleeveless Polo in orange. It is such a vibrant colour, perfect for summer!

What items would you like to see from Forelson in the future?
It would be great to see some more jumpers, maybe slightly thinner that can be worn over the sleeveless polo shirts in summer.
What are your golfing goals for 2023?
To make the final of the Hampshire County Championship, come top 10 in the English Ladies Strokeplay, and perform well in the Critchley Salver/Liphook Scratch Cup. I'm also going to give it my best shot to qualify as an amateur, for the Women's British Open!
